Translating Journalism for the Short-form Generation
During my time in The Telegraph’s graduate scheme, I had the incredible opportunity to rotate through various teams, including the dynamic Visual Storytelling department.
Here, we transformed intricate news into engaging artwork that truly enhances our narratives. One of my key responsibilities was to create 4-6 animated news stories daily for our Snapchat channel.
This unique challenge required me to distill complex news into concise, visually striking tales that resonate with a younger audience. Our mission was clear: each story had to inform and entertain, making even the most complicated topics accessible and appealing through innovative animation techniques.
