“ Pamit “

This was a personal initiative project launched as a “graduation project” during my time in AGNI Studios. It’s a very personal series of postcards that showcases the rawness of being part of a Chinese immigrant family in Indonesia. Using my real family photos and dwelling upon my ancestor’s own story and history, “Pamit” means to say thanks in Indonesia and this project became my way to express my gratitude towards all their hardships, shedding a new light to my own identity and path.
