Recollect
An experiment on typographic connection, mimicking emotional memories as a visual memory. This includes a downloadable font and exploration of its very movement, resulting in a game that further emphasise how emotional humans are and perhaps how much is overdrives our rational thinking.
Listen to the Episode ( Storytellers, Nicola Talkbalk) that I choose to base this project of here.

The font is downloadable and it is based on the emotion of each alphabet. Each alphabet is different from another, and it’s readability is not absolute because emotions can be hard to read. Though each letter stands out by itself, when typed in together as one - you’ll be able to understand and read it.
revisit.
Each video expresses a different alphabet hence emotion, and I try to capture the essence of it through combining quotes from the short itself.
Make it stand out.
The game is a test on your memory with slight hints of emotions. Just like a memory card game (which is a game you have to memorise the cards and match the similar designs together), you have to figure out the missing “emotions” each round till you get to the end and reveal the true emotion. I explored the usage of the fonts as the primary visual language of the whole game rather than it just be use for words, it sets the whole tone and language of the game to becoming more emotion driven.
This game aims to symbolise that frustration through trying to narrow down the “one” emotion. It is meant to be hard and distracting, queuing in videos from the exhibition pieces.
